The application can be submitted before the protection period expires, but it must be submitted no later than six months after the expiration of the protection period. The payment of renewal fees must also be made within this period to ensure uninterrupted protection.
3. Surcharge Fees for Late Payment
If the renewal fee is paid after the protection period has expired, a surcharge fee will be applied. This surcharge is in addition to the regular renewal fee and must be paid separately. To avoid additional costs, we recommend timely appointment for renewal.
