Maximum term of protection of a registered Design right in Austria is 25 years.

Upon registration of a Design in Austria the Design shall be protected by a registered industrial Design for a period of five years from the date of the filing of the application. The applicant may have renewed the term of protection for one or more periods of five years each, up to a total term of 25 years from the date of filing.

The renewal of a registered Design shall be done by a request, provided that the renewal fee will bee paid. The request to renew a registration and information concerning payment of the state fee shall be filed with the Patent Office within 12 months before the last day of the month in which the expiry of the registration falls or, if additional state fee is paid, within six months from the date of expiry of the registration. in that case the additional requested late fee is 20% of the normal renewal fees.

Our offer relates to single renewal of an industrial Design and includes the general maintenance fee but not the additional fee for late payment in case of failing the general renewal time limit.
