With this order form you can mandate us to file a renewal application for your registered Design in ARIPO for the next year of protection. We will pay the renewal fees, monitor the duration of protection and keep you informed about the upcoming renewal deadlines.
ARIPO includes the territory of the states Botswana, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia und Zimbabwe. Maintenance can be done only for the countries still registered in the latest register information.
Design registration in ARIPO is for a single 10-year term, beginning on the date of application. Once the 10-year term is over, anyone is free to produce, import, rent or sell the design.
The patentee shall pay annual fees to uphold his right commencing from the year when the patent right is granted.
Our offer relates to single Designs and includes the fee for the renewal of one year but not the additional fee in case of late payment failing the general renewal time limit.
Accepting the contract is subject to the circumstance that you will hire us early enough so that the request and the payment of the official fees can be arranged in time.
